Day 1 - Victoria Falls Airport - Ilala Lodge Hotel - Sunset Cruise

2 Nights at Ilala Lodge Hotel
Ilala Lodge Hotel is ideally situated on the Zimbabwean side of the falls and is the closest hotel to the Victoria Falls as well as the Vic Falls town centre. Wild animals often graze on the hotel lawns with the spray of the falls in the background.

  • Fly to Victoria Falls

  • Arrive Victoria Falls Airport and proceed to Zimbabwe immigration desk to pay for your visa fees. NB. Zimbabwe Single Entry visa will be payable     – extra cost payable directly in cash

  • After immigration procedures meet driver from the bus hire company

  • Afternoon at Leisure to settle in and lunch to own account

  • Return transfers to the Sundowner Cruise (Jetty included)

  • Private Sunset Cruise on the mighty Zambezi River (includes drinks and Snacks)

  • Return to the Hotel

  • Dinner at the Hotel to own account

  • Overnight Ilala lodge Hotel Bed and Breakfast Standard Double Room

Day 2 - Tour of Victoria Falls - Dinner

  • Breakfast at the  Hotel

  • In the morning Guided tour of the incredible Victoria Falls

  • Afternoon at Leisure to settle in and lunch to own account

  • Dinner at the hotel to own account

  • Suggestion Extra Cost: Boma Dinner (includes ethnic entertainment and interactive Drumming)

  • Overnight Ilala Hotel Bed and Breakfast

Day 3 - Samalisa Camp - Hwange National Park

  • Breakfast at the Hotel

  • Driver will come and pick you up and take you to Somalisa Camp in Hwange

2 nights at the Somalisa Camp

Situated on the eastern side of Hwange National Park, Somalisa Camp is an authentic bush camp which consists of just six elegant canvas tents each of which lies hidden amongst a grove of camelthorn acacias (Acacia erioloba). An ancient, dried-up watercourse known as the Sumamalisa Vlei stretches across the face of camp and provides a great place to view the large herds of elephant for which Hwange National Park has been made famous.

  • On arrival, private Check- in with refreshing towels and non alcoholic welcome drink

  • Perhaps a short safari walk before sundowners are served.

  • Welcome buffet lunch (depended on arrival time)

  • Afternoon game drive on the estate or in the National Park

  • Enjoy a delicious dinner served by candlelight before retiring to your room at your leisure.

Day 4 - Safari and Game Drive

  • Awaken to the sounds of birdsong

  • Early Morning Safari Drive, returning to the Camp for a hearty Breakfast

  • After breakfast, time to relax at the Camp, perhaps spending some time in the Hide near the waterhole.

  • Enjoy Lunch at the Lodge overlooking the waterhole, where there is a good chance that you'll see the animals coming to drink in the midday heat. Choose from a set menu.

  • An afternoon siesta, before setting off on an exciting game drive.

  • Dinner and overnight Somalisa Safari Camp

Day 5-6 - Game Drive - Camp Amalinda - Leisure

 

2 nights at Camp Amalinda

You'll notice when entering your 'cave' like suite, the stark contrast between rough granite and uncompromisingly high levels of comfort, style and class - all in the keeping with its surrounds. boulders.

  • Early morning Game drive

  • Take packed breakfasts with you

  • Pick up by driver and drive to Matopos

  • Arrive at Camp Amalinda

  • Afternoon at leisure

  • Lunch at the Camp

  • Afternoon Game Drive

  • Dinner at the Camp

  • Overnight at Camp Amalinda

Day 7 - World Heritage Tour

  • Early morning game drive

  • Return to the Lodge for breakfast

  • Morning at Leisure

  • Lunch at the Camp

  • In the afternoon Tour of the World Heritage SiteSite

  • Cecil John Rhodes's grave

  • Dinner at the Camp

  • Overnight At Camp Amalinda

Day 8 - Bushman Camps - Rhino Walk

  • Breakfast at the Camp

  • Tour of the Bushman Camps in the Matopos

  • Lunch at the Camp

  • In the afternoon Rhino Walk

  • Dinner at the Lodge

  • Overnight At Camp Amalinda

Day 9 - Lodge at the Ancient City - Sunset Cruise

  • Breakfast at the Camp

  • Pick up by Driver and drive to Masvingo

  • Arrive at Lodge at the Ancient City

2 Nights at Lodge at the Ancient City
Built on a granite outcrop, the Lodge at the Ancient City has sweeping views of a valley filled with trees, and faces in the direction of the Great Zimbabwe monument, so that you can see the Great Enclosure with its famous Conical Tower from the Hotel. Lake Mutirikwi, the third largest man-made dam in Zimbabwe, can also be seen from the Lodge at the Ancient City.

  • In the afternoon Sunset Cruise along the Lake Mutirikwi (snacks and drinks will be served)

  • Dinner at the Lodge

Day 10 - Great Zimbabwe Ruins

  • Breakfast at the Lodge

  • After Breakfast , Guided  Tour of the Great Zimbabwe Ruins

  • Lunch at the Lodge

  • Afternoon scenic driveto Lake Mutirikwi Dam Wall

  • Dinner at the Lodge

  • Overnight At The Lodge At The Ancient City

Day 11 - Harare - Bronte Hotel

  • Breakfast at the Lodge

  • Driver will pick you up and drive you back to Harare

  • Arrive at Harare Bronte Hotel

  • Overnight at Bronte Hotel

Day 12 - Harare Airport

  • Breakfast at the Hotel

  • Check out of Bronte Hotel

  • You will be picked up from the hotel depending with the time of your flight to Harare Airport for your departure flight back
