UGANDA / RWANDA / KENYA ITINERARY
6 DAYS BEST OF UGANDA AND RWANDA
Day 1
Fly from Entebbe to Bwindi at 7am (2 hours flight)  Gorilla trekking.  Accommodation at Lake Muhele Gorilla Lodge(FB)

Day 2
Gorilla trekking and later on transfer to Rwanda-Ruhengeri.  Accommodation at Mt. Gorilla View Lodge(FB)

Day 3
Ruhengeri
Golden monkey trekking and optional activities like visiting the Ibwatu cultural group of people for cultural entertainment or visit the twin lakes at an additional fee excluded in your quote. Accommodation at Mt. Gorilla View Lodge(FB)

Day 4
Transfer to Nyungwe forest and just incase you arrive early, you can do an optional Canopy walk at an extra cost. Accommodation at Top View Hill Hotel(FB)
 

 

Day 5
Spend the whole day in Nyungwe Forest. Accommodation at Top View Hill Hotel
 

Day 6
Transfer to Kigali for overnight at in Kigali., you can visit the Genocide if time allows.

KENYA PART

KENYA PART
Day 7
Depart Kigali for Nairobi at 08:30am .  Arrive Nairobi at 10:30am.  Early lunch at Carnivore Restaurant.  After lunch you will be transferred to Wilson Airport afternoon flight to Maasai Mara. Game drive enroute before arriving at Mara Leisure Camp for dinner and overnight.
 

 Day 8
After breakfast depart with lunch for full day game drive in the reserve culminating the Mara River.  Return to the camp for dinner and overnight at the camp. This is the day to watch the migration. From the western Serengeti the herds head north, following the rains (or their effects) into Kenya and the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. On their trek the wildebeests’ path is cut several times by rivers: in the Serengeti by the Mbalangeti and the Grumeti, and in Kenya by the Mara. For most of the year these rivers are relatively placid, but they can become violent torrents in response to rainfall in their catchments areas, and then they present major obstacles to the progress of the wildebeest. Return to the Camp for dinner and overnight.

 Day 9
Early morning game drive and return to the lodge for breakfast.  Rest of morning at leisure. Lunch at the lodge. A brief relaxation and then embark for afternoon game drive in the reserve.  Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

 

 

 

Day 10
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip  with picnic boxes for Nairobi.  Depart Maasai Mara with morning flight at 08:45 am arriving Nairobi at 10:15am.  You will take afternoon flight to Kilimanjaro which departs at 13:15 arriving Kilimanjaro at 14:10.
